Apple Self Storage Contributes To Rotary 4KIDS

Since 2004,  Rotary4Kids has been an initiative of the Rotary Club of North Bay to raise money to assist children with special needs and their families overcome challenging circumstances.

 

We are humbled to take part in the Rotary 4KIDS Radiothon and Auction this year! Apple Self Storage is supplying 3 months of free rent on a 10×10 unit for their silent auction. Make sure to tune into the Peak 95.1FM’s John Eaton’s ‘Talk of the Town’ show during the Jan 15th run-up and the Feb 14th radiothon.

Apple Self Storage Donates $18,460 To The ABLE Network

We have been working with The ABLE Network for many years. Last year we donated a total of $15,580 but this year we were able to raise $50,000 through a series of support programs. This month we presented a giant cheque totalling $18,460 to Doug Sooley at the Annual Awards Dinner. We are proud and honoured to have Doug as such a wonderful addition to the administration team at Apple Self Storage.

Apple Self Storage’s Own Phil Allan Will Ride 1,001Km To Support Canada’s Next Generation of Athletes

Phil Allan, alongside his wife Sue, are excited to participate in the ride through the Rocky Mountains to raise money for our next generation of Olympic athletes. Phil and Sue Allan are set to ride June 17- 24, 2018 from Lake Louise, AB to Whistler, BC alongside Olympic cyclist Curt Harnett.

At Apple Self Storage, we’re a hands-on family business who takes pride in giving back to the community. This year, in order to start a push into our new Apple Self Storage Health and Wellness Program, we’ve decided to commit Apple Self Storage as a corporate sponsor for the Epic Tour on Sunday September 9th.

Apple Storage Lends Units to the Sierra Leone Canadian Children’s Aid Society Drive

Apple Self Storage in Oakville was happy to contribute their storage units to the Sierra Leone Canadian Children’s Aid Society in Toronto this past Fall.

Phil Allan, co-owner of Apple Self Storage, was approached by an associate of Desmond Jordan, who is an affiliate of the Rotary Club in Oakville, and gave a unit to collect donations to ship to Sierra Leone, Africa. Apple Storage “ABLE” To Raise Over $13,000

A few months ago, we set out to raise over $10,510 for the Able Network, a non-profit organization that assists young adults with intellectual disabilities through a series of support programs. We are proud to announce that we exceeded that goal and raised a total of $13,460.

 

At our annual dinner, and in front of Apple staff from across the country, we presented Doug Sooley of The Able Network with the giant cheque! Doug is an employee of Apple Self Storage and has worked at our head office for over 2 years now.
